Telligen Announces New Vice President of State Health Management Solutions

Telligen, a leading provider of population health management solutions that improve healthcare quality and lower costs, welcomes David Hancock as vice president of state health management solutions where he will manage Medicaid operations in multiple states.
Mr. Hancock joins Telligen with 16 years of experience serving Medicaid clients across numerous states. Prior to joining Telligen, he was with Health Management Systems (HMS) in Raleigh, NC, overseeing multiple health and human service agency contracts as well as several state health plans. In addition, Mr. Hancock served as the executive for the southeast responsible for strategic planning, client relationships and government relations with full profit and loss responsibility.

In his new role, Mr. Hancock will oversee strategic planning, account management, operations, product development and client satisfaction for Telligen’s state Medicaid contracts and other state business.

His additional accomplishments at HMS include leveraging the company’s acquisition of Permedion to create a solution that incorporates program integrity services such as DRG reviews, utilization management, quality improvement and collection of provider overpayments. Mr. Hancock holds master’s degrees in Public and International Affairs and Business Administration from the University of Pittsburgh.
