The Impact of Providing Volunteer Time Off to Employees

At Telligen, we believe Community is so integral to transforming the health of populations, that it’s one of our corporate values. That’s why we introduced Volunteer Time Off (VTO) as a benefit in 2018.

In the second official year of our VTO benefit, our employee-owners contributed 1,180 hours of community service, bringing our total of volunteer time since the benefit was introduced to 2,753‬ hours!

Here’s what some of our employee-owners have to say about the benefit:

“THANK YOU Telligen for again offering Volunteer Time Off to all employee-owners in 2019! As a team and individuals, we took advantage of this benefit by volunteering at several entities in the area. We had a great time as a team making a difference in the lives of others; as well as benefiting personally.”

“I recently volunteered with the United Service Organizations (USO) to send care packages to deployed Iowa Soldiers for the holidays. This was completed in conjunction with the MMCRU Community Schools. This was humbling to think that a bunch of kids (future leaders) had the foresight to think of those serving abroad. Each care package contained a personal note from a student in hopes of creating a pin pal connection as well. Thank you, Telligen, for investing in volunteering and making moments like this possible.”
