Telligen is excited to announce its update on enhancements made to our latest Qualitrac release (2025.01). Our clinical and technical experts work year-round to enhance and advance the product, which is how we’re able to help our clients achieve their goals for quality and outcomes improvement, and cost savings.
Utilization Management Enhancements
SmartDoc – New feature that automatically scans and interprets incoming documents. The intelligent recognition process will match and attach documents with existing cases and route them to a reviewer. The SmartDoc feature transforms the traditional manual document management process into a seamless, automated workflow, significantly improving operational efficiency and reducing administrative burden.
UM Scheduled Task Queue – A new “UM Scheduled Tasks” tab has been added to the task queue that shows only Utilization Management (UM) related tasks and allows users to select a client, review type, and task type before tasks are loaded on the page. This provides users with enhanced filtering options that make it easier to view all of the tasks that they need to work of a particular type so that they can complete them in a timely manner.
Behavioral Health Details Panel – New BH specific panel that allows users to capture details related to Behavioral Health voluntary and involuntary court commitments. Details include reason for commitment, number of days, hearing and expiration date details.
Paid Claim Amount – New field option on retrospective authorization requests to capture the paid claim amount.
Auto Auth Business Rules – Development of new auto approval rules that utilize requests case information, clinical criteria and member history to determine if a request meets the auto approval criteria. These rules are all configurable at the client level and have shown some significant time savings for the clinical review team as well as faster turnaround time for providers.
Care/Case Management Enhancements
Home and Community Based Referral Completion – New functionality added to the Case Management module that allows provider and community-based organization users to mark accepted HCBS referrals as “Complete.”
Advance Directives – New field on the Person-Centered Service Plan to capture advanced directives information.
Person-Centered Service Plan Note History – New functionality added that enables seamless communication between case managers and providers through service-level note entry on the My Services tab in the PCSP and when viewing service referrals in the Case Management portal. This feature includes comprehensive tracking of user interactions with timestamps and roles, while automatically creating tasks for case managers when providers add notes. Notes remain visible based on referral status and are preserved during service reductions.
Assessment Management Enhancements
Outlook Appointment Notes – New feature in Qualitrac for the Assessment Management module that allows schedulers and Operations Managers to add custom notes to an appointment that carries over to Outlook.
Scheduling Dashboard Enhancements – Several enhancements made to the Scheduling Dashboard for Assessment Management. These updates include new drill-down reports, the addition of the referral date, the document upload date, the last activity datetime, appointment date, and rescheduled appointment activities. These updates help users to view and track a case through the entire scheduling process.
New Scheduler Workload Report – Implemented new Assessment Management Scheduler Report that provides users the ability to view comprehensive tracking metrics about the Schedulers workload including client and scheduler information, appointment statistics (assigned and confirmed), member details and assessment information, case tracking data, contact attempt history, appointment status and dates. Includes the ability to drill down further into the data.
Connect Updates and Enhancements
Turnleaf Rebrand – Our wellness mobile app previously known as Turnleaf joined our Connect product line and as such got a refresh and rebrand! Previous Turnleaf users now utilize the Connect app and all corresponding communication is branded as such.
One Time Challenge – New wellness challenge options for administrators to publish “one time” challenges where the challenge will only be completed once by a member rather than during a span of time. Once completed it will move to the members past challenges tab and be visible throughout the program year.
Google Play Accessibility Suggestions – Google Play provides suggestions to developers on improving the accessibility of a mobile app. As our Connect mobile app is available in both the Apple App Store and Android Google Play store, the team took the many suggestions and implemented them in the connect product.
Health Risk Assessment – New Health Risk Assessment page now available on both the portal and mobile versions of Connect that allows members to complete their own Health Risk Assessment.
Manually Validated Progress for Non-Connect Users – A manually validated challenge is one in which the Connect Admin uploads the outcome of the challenge into the system. Manually Validated challenge progress can now be added to the application for non-Connect users.
Custom Exercises – New functionality that allows Connect users the ability to add and track custom exercises.
Core System Enhancements
Accessibility Functionality for Skip Repetitive Navigation – New functionality has been added to Qualitrac that allows an assistive technology user to skip past repetitive navigation. This functionality increases the accessibility of the system and compliance with Section 508 legislation.

The page displays Telligen’s accessibility policy and how Qualitrac meets Section 508 Compliance. Information is provided for users on how to request accessibility assistance.
Report Tags and Filtering Enhancements – A new comprehensive tagging and filtering system has been implemented in Qualitrac Reports, introducing enhanced organization and accessibility features. Users can now efficiently categorize reports with tags, preview upcoming report versions, and manage filters through a re-designed sidebar. The Reports dashboard includes easily removable filter tags, customizable favorites ordering, and hover-enabled report descriptions on report title icons. Access controls are maintained through client specific filter permissions/roles, ensuring users only view reports they’re authorized to access.
