Telligen Chief Medical Officer Dr. Paul Mulhausen will present “The National Diabetes Prevention Program in Iowa” alongside Ami Bolles with the American Diabetes Association at the 2017 Iowa Employment Conference. The conference will be held April 5-6, 2017, at The Meadows Events & Conference Center in Altoona, Iowa. The presentation will focus on the following three principles:
- How, in partnership with the American Diabetes Association, the DPP can be implemented at the workplace and in communities to generate substantial results in controlling diabetes and its effects
- The effect diabetes and prediabetes have on the individual and the workplace
- Strategies to engage those with diabetes and prediabetes and improve their health with true results
